Pierce j bar

I'm wanting to try a j bar on my pierce clamp mod does it mount on the right side of drive shaft

J bar mounts on pass side

What will the j bar do vs the straight bar

J bar gives more side bite , short bar gives more drive over a j bar. What are you trying to do
