Yeah - I saw this earlier. It is unfortunate.

I think it will (have to) happen more and more in the next few years. In reality dirt racing does not have the following (both drivers and fans) that it used to have during the time when all of these tracks were able to be supported. Western PA and Eastern OH have a TON of tracks, and some really struggle (PPMS is a great example of a quality track that gets very little support). Over time I think we will thin the herd so to speak by 20-25% and spread those fans and drivers to other local tracks. This is probably welcomed news for some of the other Saturday tracks in the area.

    Thanks,
    Jeff.

They run late models and rush crate lates. Though the late model count has struggled to hit double digits over the past few seasons.

They had 5 super late models at their opener. 5.

So far this season, some of the cars that were strictly PPMS cars have been running Lernerville. I figured they were just running there until PPMS opened, thing is none of them were among the 5 cars at PPMS opening night.

Default Guess I'll be that guy

PMS is a dump and has been a rip off literally forever. And they paid sh!t. Used to go for the Pittsburgher and you got raped every time. When you don't upgrade a place or water it, this tends to happen. Wasn't like this was a well run, well oiled machine.

I am a fan of Jared Miley, has nothing to do with him. Just the way PMS has been ran for twenty years or better.

I guess that explains why they never updated the place and just did enough to keep racing...always wondered why they didn't at least change a board or put paint on a wall there...D@mn shame...great business deal for them though, way more money in real estate than racing
