The speedway just started running the modified division semi-regularly after hosting three MidAtlantic Modified tour races in 2015. The track has hosted over 20 cars this season but the teams do not run all the events. Last year the July MAM race drew 22 cars. The modified division continues to grow in the central PA area so we expect car counts to grow. The track is hosting a special twin-race bonus points/purse weekend with Bedford Speedway on July 1-2 with extra money for top finishers running both events. We expect good car counts then, plus when the MAM tour returns for a Friday/Saturday double on Sept. 23-24 paying $1,000 to win Friday and $800 to win Saturday. Several other nearby tracks have decided to run modifieds (for the first time this year) which has hurt car counts all around. The modified division in this region is still growing but some tracks are jumping on the bandwagon which is diluting car counts. We are trying to accommodate all tracks so the division can grow, but you know how that goes sometimes...
