Riley Hickman Takes Two W’s; Smoky Mountain Next

Cleveland, Tennessee (06/14/16) – Riley Hickman enjoyed another successful weekend of racing in the South by powering his Hickman Manufacturing #R1 Late Model entries to a pair of victories.

Piloting the Club 29 #R1 Crate Late Model, Riley Hickman was one of 15-entries registered at Crossville Speedway (Crossville, Tennessee) on Friday night for the Weekly Racing Series Event. Jumping out to the lead early in the A-Main, Riley led from flag-to-flag in the 25-lap affair to pick up his ninth win of the season. Brandon Williams, Anthony White, Josh Henry, and Barry Goodman completed the Top-5.

The following night brought Hickman to Talladega Short Track (Eastaboga, Alabama), where he was wheeling his #R1 CVR Super Late Model in the Southern All Star Series event. Drawing 26-cars for the B.J. Parker Memorial, Hickman earned the pole position for the feature after posting the fastest time in qualifying. Leading the entire distance once again, Riley streaked to his second-straight win and tenth overall on the season. Collecting a $4,200 payday, Hickman was followed across the finish line by Jason Hiett, Tim Roszell, Josh Putnam, and Terry Smith.

“It seems like we are really starting to hit our stride this season,” said Hickman. “I want to thank my crew guy, Brad (Carvin) and all of my sponsors for their great support.”
