$5,000 Ultimate SLMs at Dublin, June 25

Weatherman says 88 and 67 with a chance of a afternoon shower, clear at night. Perhaps some driver can knock that 16.07 second record down.

I thought Beasley had that at 15.85 or somewhere near abouts........
Where is the move over flag when you need it?????

My 16.07 was one of these speed typing, too fast for the curve errors. I believe I would have been correct in saying 15.07. Beasley had the old record, Ferguson broke that one (Kelley's post), and (I think) he knocked it down a second time.
Old timers still think the fastest lap around that place was Larry Blankenship's couple of courtesy laps after a late arrival
years ago where he set the clay on fire! LOL!

Yep you are right. 15.079 on October 11, 2014

Woof......that's haulin the mail around that joint.
I remember there was a track record sign entering the pits that had Beasleys time on it , but couldn't remember if that was before or after they reconfigured the track a little.
Thanks for the heads up

15.027 is current record, Fergy broke his record of 15.079 the next time back.

Shaun set the record of 15.28 around 2006...still had the river bank clay. That time stood for years, 'til Fergy broke it a couple years ago.

Thanks double zero......the 1 , the 25 and the 15 used to put on a whale of a show back then at the rattlesnake......on Friday nights no less.

The first-ever race on the newly re-configured Rattlesnake in 2005.....huge field of cars on hand, including Little Ed Gibbons, Shaun Beasley won the pole that night, with Little Ed winning the race.

Maybe flagone can do his magic once again and get us a big crowd of cars with the Ultimate SLM Series. Fayetteville is closed on Saturday but are trying to draw some SLMs from the DMS event by running tomorrow night. At least, SLM drivers could have two opportunities if they so choose. Glad to see the heat back on the DMS surface though; just not enough times during the season.

Thanks TrickyNBC. I knew about the 15.079 but must have missed the race with the 15.027.That's 95.83 mph on the 4/10 mile. Back when Beasley set the record at 15.28, the record at Charlotte was 15.27. They were similar sized tracks and I hoped DMS would mimic Charlotte in lowering the record but Charlotte took off with that Hagerstown prep crew and last I heard, it was down in the 14.80s, I believe. Still looking for someone to get DMS sub 15!

We should have a good field but the I-95 deal at CLR and FUEL at Modoc will cost us a few cars for sure. We will still have plenty of good ones with us. Looking forward to being back at Dublin. Great fans and folks.

Thanks Kelley. The fans would like to see the Ultimate SLM Series there once a month during race season and have expressed that sentiment numerous times. Perhaps.....one of these days.....we will be heard!
