    Default Seat Belts

Cam lock or the standard latch style?
I see both at my local tracks.
Both seem to keep people in the car when the need arises.

Are the cam locks worth the extra money for an average fair weather racer?

I've heard from several people, and I believe Hooker Harness's, that you should avoid the camlock style on a dirt track. Too many moving parts in there that can get gunked up with dirt, and they won't work properly.

I'm sold on that idea. All my tracks are dry and can't see the bumper slick and reapated washing etc. Thanks for bring that up.

Are you saying the wheel hit the camlock and released them?

Aren't some buttons and others levers?

Just call and get you some Hookers , After you run then and they get out of date just ship them back and they rework the belt and send it back to you . Plus Hookers are MADE IN THE U.S.A 815 233 5478 . Scott will take care of you

Thanks for all the advice. I bought a set of RCI's. Been using them for 10 years and they also recertify.

You for sure need to get the steering wheel away from the twist style cam locks. Doesn't take much to get them unlocked, never had them unlock during a race though, imagine I might shat myself if they did.
