Pierce McCarter Victorious at 411; McCarter Racing Set for Busy Weekend

Gatlinburg, Tennessee (06/28/16) – Making just his fifth start of the season on Saturday night, Pierce McCarter capitalized on the opportunity by piloting the McCarter Brothers Racing #71 Rocket Chassis Late Model to the victory at 411 Motor Speedway.

“It felt good just to be in the car again, but to win definitely made it that much sweeter,” Pierce said with a big smile. “I hope to race a little more the second half of the season, and I definitely plan to do my best to win some more races.”

Making the short trip to 411 Motor Speedway (Seymour, Tennessee) on Saturday night, Pierce McCarter competed in the Late Model division, which was contested as part of the regular night of racing. Storming to his first win of the season in the feature, Pierce topped Josh Henry, Drew Kennedy, Bryson Dennis, and Gary Crittenden.

With the Independence Day weekend now rapidly approaching, both Pierce and his brother, Mack plan to enter a full slate of racing action in the area. The weekend opens on Friday evening at Volunteer Speedway (Bulls Gap, Tennessee) with the annual Scott Sexton Memorial. Mack will compete in the $3,052-to-win, Iron Man Mountain Championship Super Late Model portion of the program, while Pierce will race in the Crate Late Model division.

Saturday night takes the team to Tazewell Speedway (Tazewell, Tennessee), where Mack will race in the Iron Man Mountain Championship Super Late Model ranks, which posts a $5,000 top prize.

On Sunday night Pierce will compete with the United Crate Racing Alliance at Wartburg Speedway (Wartburg, Tennessee) in a $2,500-to-win event.

The ultra-busy slate will draw to a close on Monday evening at Tri County Race Track (Brasstown, North Carolina) with Mack competing in Super Late Models and Pierce racing in Crate Late Models.
