Add:
Derek Ellis-Chatsworth, GA
Devin Gilpin-Columbus, IN
to the list of drivers that are planning to run the entire tour.
-
That is a good field of cars.Looking forward to the Wythe and Gap race.
-
That would be great if that many cars ran the full tour. It's also nice to see that the other series that run in that area of the country haven't scheduled any races to compete against it so even if all of those drivers don't run the full schedule the car counts should be stout. I really wish there was that level of cooperation between the series the rest of the year.
-
I believe Kenny Collins (Colbert GA) plans on running this series as well.
-
No NC/SC tracks on the schedule besides Ray's track. More local Carolina drivers might would attempt this series if there was more "local" tracks to them.

Every track except Crossville and maybe 411 are always part of this series every year. Might be Ray doesnt want to step on the Carolina Clashs toes.

Im surprised Chris Brown and Gavin Landers plan on running. Pretty sure Ricky Weiss will be running a car from Vic Hill. Not sure about Madden hope he gets better soon

It would but SAS and UBOB both have races scheduled during the series. Use to they didnt but now they gota get that all mighty dollar lol
-
The SAS race is in MS, which is pretty far outside the area of the tour, so I didn't really consider that being in competition with it. The UBoB is closer but I didn't really consider that drawing much of the tour either. You are right though.
-
David Payne will probably run the whole series. I would like to see Billy Ogle Jr run the whole tour.
-
Yeah you can scratch off Chris Madden. His wife just posted on FB that he's going to have to sit the tour out this year due to his injury. Hope he gets well soon.
-
Just a couple of days before the tour gets going! We will miss Chris Madden but our thoughts and prayers are with him for a speedy recovery, that's most important.
-
Gilpin and Weiss will be two to watch in this series. I think especially Weiss will open some eyes during the SoNatls.
Thanks,
Jeff.

Casey Roberts was a no-show for round 1. That's a bummer. I wonder if he skipped it due to the weather. Anyone know?
-
The UBoB race is about 9 hours away from the July 23rd Screven race. None of the guys that will run that race would have been at the other. Come on now. The regular ULTIMATE Series takes the entire 2 weeks off in cooperation with Ray.

Oh really? Remember that epic Dustin Linville-Jeremy Hines duel at Red's house of red clay horror? 😏Yeah me neither.
