The best race I ever seen at Salem was the winged super sprints..30 laps green white chequered flag no cautions took just a shade over 9 minutes to run....fast time was almost 140mph...deputy clocked one at 168 at the end of back strech....I have race there an raced a lot of dirt...My am time fav. To race asphalt. .track has claimed a few lives as well..
