Why is Pennsboro remembered so fondly?

Not sure, I thought brothers, but you may be right. They had nice sh!t at the Boro too, beautiful stuff. Won't get to far into it, but they owned a pipeline company, and went to prison in the end. Not sure if they all did, just know a little about it.

Gotcha. I never met or saw either driver, i saw older pics of Eddies car from Pennsboro in the 80s and didnt see Mikes until the 90s. So i just assumed they were father and son

Cale Yarborough finished 12th in 1984...who's car was he driving?Double Zero, Cale drove an SR1 Camaro that Rodney Combs had built, and if memory serves this 67 year old clown, I think it was a car that Mike Smith was piloting, it was a one time shot, but hey, Cale was comeptitive all day till the last twenty or so laps. And yes chupp, never thought a guy in his mid 40's would ever hear a band that was almost as good as the Doors could get me interested in music again, but Layne and Jimmy could, their music was unbelieveable in my opinion, and the Rooster has special meaning for meAnd thanks as always Eric my friend, guys like you are why I do it, although I had all this done fifteen yrs ago, luckily I found all of it in my archives, and I do mean archives !

Pretty sure Eddie Smith was Mike's Uncle.
