To have a season like JD did last year requires a LOT of luck. What he's doing this year is what his season would have looked like last year without the luck. He's got a lot of talent and a good team, but to compare anyone to what he accomplished last season is unfair.

As far as DoD and Essex favoring JD goes...really? DoD is about as unbiased as you can get and Essex shows the love to whoever is doing well that night. I just don't see it all. Maybe I don't see the bias because I root for JD though.

I would call JD a dirty driver. He always uses the car he is passing up to the fullest. JDwins races by using the cushion. If the cushion isn't there he isn't a factor. Drivers like Bloomquist and Moyer can find a way to pass without using the cushion as a lifeline and more importantly pass without banging off the other car. Imo he is a Friday night hero with probably the best team and equipment in the sport!

He always uses the car he passes up to the fullest??????oh brother.

You know the word " always" means every single time , right?

Not saying he doesn't door people up every now and again.......but always???

    Not even close.

That was exaggerated a little when I said always but imo JD and Landers are the two roughest drivers in Lucas racing right now. Like I said, take the cushion away and he isn't a factor very often.

I don't disagree with all of that...........

And he certainly isn't a catfish, by no means.

Speaking of that, I'm liking the recent EPJ sightings.........kinda like the old days.🤘

He was pretty fast at i80. Faster than he has been in a while. Everyone is waiting for Kevin to find speed again.

Let's not forget Earlier in the same race Erb sweeping out twice and putting JD in the front stretch wall when JD was beside him....

Simpson and Erb challenged Davenport at times at I 80, but near the end of the race Davenport really put it to them. Give the man some credit!
