    Iron-Man Mtn. Championship Heads to Mtn. Motor and 201 August 5 and 6
    Mountain Dirt Classic and Hatfield & McCoy Feuding 50 up next for the 8-race tour!

    SOMERSET, KY (July 31, 2016)—After five events, the Iron-Man Mountain Championship heads down the home stretch to Mountain Motor Speedway in Isom, Ky. on Friday Night August 5th for the Mountain Dirt Classic and 201 Speedway in Sitka, Ky. on Saturday Night August 6th for the Hatfield & McCoy Feuding 50. This will mark events six and seven of the eight-race tour.

    On Friday Night August 5th at Mountain Motor Speedway, the Mountain Dirt Classic, a long-time running event from years back will have a new lease on life as the Iron-Man Mountain Championship will sanction the event paying $3,000-to-win for the Super Late Models along with a full show of Open Wheel Modifieds, Bombers and Four Cylinders.

    On Saturday Night August 6th at 201 Speedway, the Super Late Models of the Iron-Man Mountain Championship will race 50 laps for $5,000-to-win and $300-to-start while the Four Cylinders will run for $800-to-win in the Annual Rumble in the Mountains event. The Open Wheel Modifieds will race for $700-to-win while Bombers will compete for $500-to-win.

    At both Mountain Motor and 201 Speedways, gates will open at 3:00 pm with the driver’s meeting slated for 6:30 pm and hot laps at 7:00 pm. Adult general admission each night is $20.00 while adult pit passes each night are $35.00.

    Each night will feature a complete show of practice, qualifying, heat races, consolation races and the 30-lap main event for Friday and a 50-lap main event for Saturday. The Super Late Model tire rule for the August 5 and 6 weekend is as follows: American Racer 44, 48 and 56 compounds along with the Hoosier 1300, 1350 and 1600 compounds. The series entry fee is $50.00 for Friday’s show at Mountain Motor and $75.00 for Saturday’s show at 201 Speedway. The Super Late Model weight Rules are 2300 lbs. for open engines and 2200 lbs. for steel block (also 525 or crate) engines.

    The Iron-Man Mountain Championship features eight events (June 17 through October 1) paying a minimum of $3,000-to-win. The min-tour features a $1,000 points fund for three positions and nightly contingencies. The Champion will receive $500, second place receives $300 while third place receives $200. The tour’s perfect attendance drivers will be entered into drawings for a free vinyl wrap courtesy of Victory Signs & Designs of Sparta, Tenn. and another drawing for $2,000 off towards the purchase of a new chassis from Revelution Race Cars of Richmond, Ky. Also, driver’s that run the entire tour will be entered into a drawing for several random products from Schaeffer’s Oil by Ed Lowe.

    -American Racer South will award $100 product certificate to the highest finishing driver on American Race Tires in the main event.
    -Double H Race Fabrications will award a $50 product certificate to the 10th place driver each night in the main event.
    -Schaeffer’s Oil by Ed Lowe will award a Case of Oil to the Feature Event Winner each night.
    -Revelution Race Cars will award a $50 product certificate to the highest finishing Revelution Race Car each night in the main event.
    -Vic Hill Race Engines will award a $50 product certificate to the highest finishing Vic Hill Race Engine each night in the main event.
