Gonna sound dumb here so don't troll me too bad.
Is tonight's show a seperate show and not count for Saturday? I was thinking of watching tonight because if you ask me the heats are better than the A main sometimes. More passing, harder racing, etc. So, does tonight count towards Saturday or is it basically a practice show to give guys some laps before the big show Friday and Saturday?

As far as I can recall its a seperate show from Fri and Sat. I know they used to lock the winner/highest finisher in the field for Saturday's A main from Thursday. Not 100% sure they still do that.

thanks...it's hot as hell here in Iowa today and sitting inside watching racing seems like a good idea to me...wonder if the kids will agree.
