That's how the forecasters cover themselves. They call for a daily chance of rain so that they're always right. If every day's forecast is "it might rain or it might not" then they're always right.

Thank you, now we can all quit worrying about even a dark cloud appearing in the sky!!!!

Now, how about making a few bets???

    Smile U are correct

I never did understand how percentages worked when meteorologists predicted 90%. Now it's 100% for Saturday, does that mean everyone will see rain? If so, that must indicate a wide area of coverage.

It will all work out. Scattered showers just like Florence always gets. We will get in some racing this week boys. I could see it being a Eldora though. Show starting about 11 after all the rain ends. Leaving the house around noon today. CANT WAIT!!!!!!

Some home made elderberry wine would be great! I have to wonder if gear head has had trouble with a weather man screwing his wife or something --he's awful grumpy about the weather?

That doesn't mean they're gussing heavy rain. It could sprinkle everywhere for a couple minutes and technically they'd be right.

Hoping the forecast improves. Can only go Saturday, but a 4 hour trip might not be worth it with the weather looming.
