Default The ol Verizon at Eldora question

We gonna have it at the World or am I gonna have to do the usual stand on one foot on top of my car with cellphone taped to 10 ft metal poll stretched out over my head and bluetooth in my ear to make a call?

See last year had great service at dream but if my memory is correct world weekend the temporary Verizon tower was moved to Indy for something going on there. So service was crap. Didn't know if that'd be the case this year too or tower would stay put, or permanent tower was at the big e now.

Can't believe these tracks don't get a COW... Cell on wheels. Most cell companies have them available to use at little or no cost

A cow? Never heard of it but I'm all for it. Great idea.

Thanks, Kid. I was just curious. I've been all over that place 100 times and don't remember seeing it.

    Cool Dream Verizon

At the Dream, Verizon had a COW just south of the Eldora Village campground. AT&T has the full sized, permanent tower between Eldora Village and Speedy that's been there for several years now. I'd predict the Verizon COW to be there for the World.

I messaged Verizon and the reply said they currently have no information as to a temporary tower scheduled for that area during the dates n question.

Been to every race at Eldora this year and have not had any problems with my Verizon cell phone.
