Why did they make Oneal go to the rear? Did he have a flat? The DoD video only shows them hooked together like 2 dogs in heat. Watched it a dozen times and don't see anywhere Oneal caused that. He is the leader. He sets the pace of the restart, which I believe he did, then Landers runs him over. Can anyone explain it?????

O'Neal went to the infield . if he hadn't he may have got his spot back. I was there buy can't remember if they just looked at the car or changed a tire or something.

What caused it is oneal likes to start at top of track on take off and immediately dive straight to bottom kinda break checking cars behind him lucas said he wouldve gotton spot back but he went to infield to get sheet metal pulled out when he did that its automatically go to tail

He went to infield because he had a flat left rear. As far as the restart goes, he's the leader and the leader controls the restart, Landers was trying to anticipate it and just jumped too early. Oneal didn't do anything wrong.

Thanks for the clarification on that. I know that's how he likes to start but its completely legal. Problem was that he never started because Landers ran him over. I figured he had a flat and went to the infield but wasn't sure. It's a shame too because Oneal looked like he had a pretty good car.

Well either way ONiel had a great run last night. He for sure got ran over 200 feet from the cone. I know the cone is not the starting line but still. Wouldn't surprise me if old coach BLOOMY had something to do with this. I'm sure to alot of people that's pretty far fetched. I wouldn't bet against it though.

While O'Neal has had a car year, and did nothing in the N/S to deserve Landers being Landers, he's also made a career of abusing other cars on his way to the front. There's no small bit of irony in old "Bend your Steel" getting the short end of the stick.

I don't think he brake checked, oneal never slowed anymore. Like Boggs, O'neal has a weird way of restarting, he about cut the nose off of the inside car everytime it looks like. Like said above I think Landers knew that was trying to get a good jump to the outside, and took off a lil too soon.

Because you need glasses? You don't know what a brake check looks like? You are a Landers homer? Hell, who knows why you thought you noticed something that wasn't there?

Oh by the way, how about Bobby Pierce bringing home the $50,000? That was good to see, wasn't it?
