ULTIMATE SE and ULTIMATE “Battle of the Bluegrass” Super LM at the Scorcher Thursday!

It’s been a few years since the ULTIMATE Super Late Model Series has been at the high banks of Volunteer Speedway, but that all changes this Thursday as both the ULTIMATE SE and the ULTIMATE BoB comes together to slug it out for the $12,000 to win 1st place prize.

Dennis Rambo Franklin took the point lead from Kenny Collins this past weekend by a very small 20 point margin. Glenn Elliot of MD now presides in the 3rd place point chase with drivers Casey Robert and Chris Ferguson rounding out the top 5.

Jeremy Hines currently leads the ULTIMATE Battle of the Blue Grass Series points, but only by 48 points with Dustin Linville in 3rd, Michael Chilton 4th and Chad Stapleton currently 5th in that points battle. Only unlucky race could make a huge difference in either series. Things could change quickly.

Other expected teams people might expect are dale McDowell, Vic Kill, Scott Bloomquist, Mike Marlar, Chris Madden, Jeff Smith, Donald McIntosh and many others. One thing for certain the 50 lap main is always a heck of a race on the 34 degrees of banking at “The Gap”.
