    Default A40s

Anyone else having problems with the 2nd tread in from the outside chunking out. It is only that row. After a 8 lap heat the tread raises and is spongy like the rubber is blistering at the base of the tire. By the end of a feature it has nearly the whole 2nd row chunked out. We are starting with 13-14psi and siping less than 1/8" deep. Seems that its worse when there is moisture in the track. Any thoughts/advice would be appreciated cause this is getting expensive.

I only sipe them if they harden up a bit, or I have moved them to the front of car.
I would NEVER run one on the RR.
if it run them on the LR new, I never sipe them.
I think there should be lifeguards in the genepool.

Like everyone said, quit siping. It tears the a40s apart. Its also trash on the right rear anyway. Bolt on an H.

    exactly.
The feel really mushy on the RR to me. car is real squirmy. I have only tried them on a slower track on RR and do not like feeling.
I Really like the H on the RR at all times. just have to know how to get them to fire quick.

maybe an exception there, especially early in night. I don't think that track will be really fast. but if it gets hard and slick, I would put on an H without a doubt

Hoosier told me to only sipe a new tire, less than 1/32 deep and only one time. helps the rubber to cure and harden. heat soak tire before racing it.
