    Default Valve Size

Is it possible to use a boriscope to check valve size when heads are on the engine? (King tech guy says he can)

I won't say it's completely impossible but I certainly wouldn't DQ someone over what you thought you could see especially without physically measuring them.

They would probably be looking at the gap between the intake and exhaust valves.Back in the day that is how we could tell if a head was 2.02/1.6 or 1.94/1.5.

Most tech man can probably tell as you drive by in the pits if you have 1.94 or 2.02 valves... haha

If a guy wants to hamper his performance with a oem head by running 2.02 valves they should let him.
