Owens is in a Brand New Mod chassis that he built with a Cornett motor. Neither he nor Bloomer attended practice day on Wednesday.
Ramirez runs LG2's with Cornett so there must be some sort of a trade-off there. I'm sure LG2 customers are happy to hear Jimmy is in one of those cars because the potential feedback that can come from this weekend.
From what I read Scott isn't there yet and won't be there until tomorrow. (surprise surprise). They run basically a full show each night with the top 10 in the A-Main each night locking in to saturday's $40k. With a strong chance of storms tomorrow, it seems Scott is already putting himself behind the 8 ball (no pun intended) in this deal by showing up late. Info came from Modified Madness who is there covering the race.

You are correct Greg Jimmy will be in a Ramirez owned LG2 car powered by cornett this weekend...
If you can't race it or take it to bed! It ain't worth having!
as much as i'm glad to see the late model stars drawing attention to the modified class, i'd love to see bloomquist and owens finish second at best. I want a full time modified racers to take the big check. although a rick aukland win wouldn't disappoint me (does anyone remember how competitive this guy was in the late models?!!!).
Dirtmod13... this site is not Apple friendly. I have all Mac stuff (except a new crappy Android phone) and some feature just won't work like photo attachments, reply to a post... stuff like that.

Bloomquist ain't gonna make the main on his own, track provisional maybe. Owens has a shot running mid pack. Neither would be a favorite to win to anyone who pays attention to those guys. The pic shows a Ramirez car with Owens number. I'd pick, in no particular order- Sanders, Hughes, TP, Gustin, or Dillard. Dillard been hot lately. Owens did a USMTS race earlier this year. Didn't do so well.

Bloomquist starts 5th in the fourth heat race. Albrecht, Aukland, Whitwell and Gudmonson are in front of him. Its a pretty good heat. Owens and Bloomquist are locked into the show from what I hear. Owens finished 13th on Thursday and was told hes locked in and decided not to run the noon show.
