XS power is the best by far. I had 3 or 4 turbo starts go bad.

16v is a waste of $$$. setup your 12v right and it will work just as good. talked to MSD guys at PRI about it.

I've had good luck with XS.There is a lite weight XS that won't last as long without an alternator. The heavier one has lasted for years.

Been on Rocks for the last 2 years, zero problems, crank better than all others . I also use their heavy duty solenoid, seems to help keep the starters from giving up early.

You cant get them anymore but the red turbo starts were awesome. We had one that got a hole in it from a wreck and we patched it then used for the rest of the year. Then got new one at the beginning of the next year and the patched one got put on the floor for the next two years. One night in a pinch we through it into the car and it cranked it right over

XS power batteries are very good and their customer service is excellent. We have 2 of their batteries & 2 chargers, one of the chargers had an issue & overcharged the battery. They repaired the charger & replaced the battery for free, and even paid shipping.

I just recently switched to a XS 16v battery because the 12V optima wasn't enough to fire a high compression open motor once it was warmed up. The 16v definitely turns the motor over faster than the 12V did. So far the battery has been great. However, one of the display indicator lights on my new XS starter did burn out.
