Southern All Star Season Finale Set For Talladega Short Track October 22nd

FAYETTVILLE, TN—The Southern All Star Dirt Racing Series will bring the 33rd season to an end on Saturday night October 22nd at the Talladega Short Track as the series will return for the annual NASCAR Weekend with a 40 lap $4,000 to win event.
Riley Hickman of Ooltewah, TN., has clinched his 4th straight series title and will be leading the Southern All Star drivers into the event. Brad Skinner of Spring Hill, TN., in his first full year of tour racing has all but clinched the Cruise with the Champions/Dirtondirt.com Rookie of the Year will also be in action along with another first time tour regular Jim Rogers of Statesboro, GA., who will finish third in series points, not bad after his first year on the road and seeing new tracks, fourth place will be in action also former rookie of the year Todd Morrow of East Ridge, TN., who is looking at making another run at the series title in 2017.

Drivers from all across the area are expected to compete such as 2015 rookie of the year Dillon Tidmore of Gadsden, AL., Jason Hiett of Oxford, AL., Jake Knowles of Rome, GA., Tim Roszell of Anniston, AL., Bo Shirley of Gadsden, AL., Tim Busha of Boaz, AL., Terry Smith of Anniston, AL., plus many more.

Friday October 21st will be the regular Talladega super late model event that will pay $2,000 to win with the Southern All Star race on Saturday October 22nd 40 laps paying $4,000 to win.
