    Summit Racing Equipment American Modified Series Season Championship at Florence Speedway October 22

    Glasgow, KY-October 16, 2016 (www.americanmodifiedseries.com)- The Summit Racing Equipment American Modified Series is set to conclude the 2016 racing season as tour will present the 7th Annual Summit Racing Equipment American Modified Series Season Championship event at Florence Speedway in Union, KY on Saturday October 22. The event will be 40 laps in distance and pay $5,000 to win and $250 to start.

    The Summit Racing Equipment American Modified Series will visit Florence Speedway in Union, KY on Saturday October 22. The tour will be in competition in a full program of practice, A-B group time trials, qualifying heats, B Mains, and the 40 lap, $5,000 to win/$250 to start 7th Annual Summit Racing Equipment AMS Season Championship A-Main event. Other divisions joining the Summit Racing Equipment American Modified Series in action at Florence Speedway on Saturday October 22 will be the track’s Super Late Model division racing for $5,000 to win in the track’s Fall 50 event. Entry fee for the Summit Racing Equipment American Modified Series is $50. For this event, the Hoosier H40 tire compound will be MANDATORY for use on the right-rear tire of the race cars. In addition, Florence Speedway uses transponder timing/scoring and the rental fee for a transponder is $10. All drivers that start a B-Main but do not transfer to the A-Main will receive $50 tow money.

    Activities for the 7th Annual Summit Racing Equipment AMS Season Championship event at Florence Speedway on Saturday October 22 will see the pit area open at 2:00 p.m., while the general admission area will open at 4:00 p.m. The drivers meeting will be at 4:15 p.m., with practice laps set to start at 4:30 p.m., followed immediately by time trials, and racing will begin at 6:00 p.m. All times EDT. Ticket prices for Florence Speedway on Saturday October 22 in the general admission area will be $25 for adults, with children ages 6 to 11 $3, while a pit pass will be $36.

    Florence Speedway is at located 12234 US Hwy. 42 just outside of Walton, KY 41094. Take exit 180 off of Interstate 75 and drive West on US Hwy. 42 for 9.0 miles and the track is located on the left. For
