$10,000 to win ULTIMATE Supers at County Line benefit for “Victory Junction Gang” Nov 11-12
Carnesville, Georgia (November 6, 2016) –

The ULTIMATE Super Late Model Series is set to close out its 6th season with the $10,000 to win 8th Annual Race for the Kids at County Line Raceway on Friday and Saturday, November 11th and 12th. The annual event which benefits the Victory Junction Camp is in its 5th year of sanctioning by the ULTIMATE Series. 3-time Series champion Casey Roberts of Toccoa, Georgia has had a strangle hold on the finale capturing the win in each of the last 3 events. Walker Arthur of Forest, Virginia won the 2012 event.

The Race for the Kids has been heralded for the close quarters racing and a “big event” type atmosphere has also made its mark on the series. “The Race for the Kids has become such a special one for our entire staff. We really look forward to going to County Line. They have a phenomenal fan base that is one of the friendliest anywhere in the country. And the fact that the event surrounds the Victory Junction Camp and helps some kids who so very much deserve good things in their lives is just awesome. We enjoy working together with all of the staff at County Line too. They really work hard to make this event successful and we are proud to be a part of it.” said ULTIMATE Series Director Kelley Carlton.

The event gets underway on Friday night with M&W Transport Haulin’ It Time Trials which will see the fastest qualifier pick up a $200 bonus from M&W Transport. Also on Friday night all drivers will compete in Heat Races. Saturday’s schedule includes Last Chance Qualifiers and the 50-lap feature. Also on the card will be Open Wheel Modifieds, Legends Cars, 600cc Micro Sprints and the always wild and wooly chain race.

County Line will host an open practice session on Thursday night. Pit gates will open at 5 PM and practice time from 7-10. Friday Pit gates open at 4 PM with the drivers meeting set for 6:30 and racing to follow. On Saturday Pit gates open at 2 PM. The drivers’ meeting is scheduled for 4:15 PM with racing to follow. The ULTIMATE Series tire rule for the event is as follows: All four corners choose from American Racer compounds 48, 53 and 56 or Hoosier compounds 1350, 1450 and 1600. Any 70 will also be allowed on the RR.
