You'll need a remote servo,I had a car a few years back that had a manual rack and the servo was mounted at the firewall.I'm sure sweet can fix you up.
you need a lot more than a remote servo. it's going to be cost prohibitive, although it may be possible. the biggest problem is the speed of the rack. a manual rack is usually between 2-3" per revolution. assuming the application is for a dirt late model you will want to be in the 4" range. you could use a quickener...?
assuming the housing will accept an assist cylinder you will also need:
- assist cylinder
- hoses/lines
- servo
- rack ends to accept the assist cylinder
you can buy a sweet 4" .220 integrated servo rack used all day long for less than $500. i highly recommend calling sweet before you start shopping for parts based on my information though.
