    Default rear brakes

Right now my brakes are on a bracket bolted/clamped to the axle tube what would it do if anything at all if I mounted them on the bird cages

The force of braking would no longer be fed into the 6th coil. The forces are fed thru the suspension links. This means the suspension will be stiffer while you ride the brakes. Not knowing your suspension specifics, I would still expect your car to be tighter on entry.
