How is 411 speedway? Thinking of makin this trip this weekend from Pittsburgh.

Excellent track in my opinion. Have been there several times and have always seen good racing. The track crew for the McCarter family does a great job with track prep and the surface always looks pristine...it holds moisture well and seldom have I seen a race there (whether in person or on video) where the track rubbers up too quick and gets locked down to one lane.

It's a nice little 1/3 mile track, well run, good racing. The forecast suggests that it may be in the mid-50s at race time, dropping into the upper 40s after 5 PM. Dress warm if it runs late. No chance of rain.

How often do they run SLM's there?

Just a handful of times each year. It is a treat to see them there.

The best thing about 411 is that they keep the show rolling at a nice clip, they have an 11pm curfew so they never drag tail even on an early start.
