Default Rank your top five weekly late model tracks:

Curious to find out what the concensus of the board is for the top 5 weekly late model tracks they have attended. There are some great shows out there.

    In Central Illinois

    1. Lasalle Speedway
    2.Peoria Speedway
    3.Fairbury American Legion Speedway
    4.Farmer City Raceway
    5. Spoon River Speedway

    * Lasalle Speedway didn't run a weekly program in 2016. I believe there are many many people hoping that changes in 2017.

Probably something like this for the ones I have attended based on racing and car count:

    1. Port Royal (PA)
    2. River Cities (ND)
    3. Potomac (MD)
    4. Path Valley (PA)
    5. Susquehanna (PA)

Port is probably the raciest track in the area, and they always get excellent car count. River Cities has one of the best weekly shows in the country, and that track is amazing. Potomac is always racy, they struggle with car counts but 12 cars can still put on a great show. Path Valley is in the same boat as Potomac only a little bit worse because they have the same car count struggles but not even with the SLM -- however I've seen some great 10-12 car CLM and LLM shows there. Susky always has great LLM counts (with some great drivers), and a decent show throughout, but the fact that they are not SLM, and the track isn't the most racy around probably puts it further down the list for me. I left off one of my favorite tracks (Winchester) because the surface has been pretty bad the past few years, and the counts are never super great. I'm hoping the track can make a comeback though. I saw some great racing and great surfaces toward the end of the season there.

    Thanks,
    Jeff.

What does Port Royal's purse look like? They obviously do a great job with big car counts.

Their regular purse is $1500 to win, $500 for 5th, $305 for 10th and $200 to start.

    Thanks,
    Jeff.

    Atomic
    Florence
    Prp
    Moler
    Southern

All of these tracks are within an hour and a half of my door. Moler is probably my favorite track, but they do some really odd things at times. Since Brad has taken over at Atomic, it's been great.

Living here in Columbus, we're blessed as well. I can go any direction and find good racing.

    In no particular order:

    Fridays either Attica or Moler
    Saturdays either Atomic or Oakshade
Sundays it's nice to have Millstream back open, and Eldora's two ALMS shows
Gotta add Montpellier. The don't run the DLM's but they have came a long way. Some of the Mod shows have been awesome.

Honorable mention to Wayne County and Hilltop!
