    thinking about going to light weight axels from soild axels was wondering if it was worth the money to go that way?

    if you do scribe a line down the axle and replace when you see twist.
    I think there should be lifeguards in the genepool.

    I would say that your money is spent better somewhere else. The weight you save on the axles will not give you any measureable speed difference. The same money spent on tires will. You will save 5 lbs, while the guy next to you is bolting 30 on the axle tube.

    The Strange Oval axles are, by far, the way to go. They alter the od of each axle so the twist of each side is balanced and they are a better material which allows more torsional wrap while outlasting all other axles. They are a little more money but you will see an increase in performance and longer component life by using them.
