Www.dirtkingstour.com ... will be interesting to see especially the part about using Five Star body components. Good to see the big 1/2 mile at BD in the mix... the guys running that venue need more exposure and a shot at success. Sun Prarie will also be a test to see if LMs will fit on that great but narrow track

Whoever had the idea of Angell Park has apparently never been to the track in person. Sure they made it somewhat wider but there's not enough room for a late model

If they can run late models at belle Clare , Macon and the St. Louis dome there will be no issues at Angell park sorry

I have been there (Angell Park), and even walked the track to get a better sense of it myself. I didn't feel there would be an issue, and I figure if they can run sprint cars they can run late models. Living in Northern Illinois, I'm hopeful for the success of this series and am even considering following it myself (a great opportunity to hit some different tracks).

are so sure about that that track is plenty wide like it was said they been racing at Macon and Belleclaire for over 60 with no real issue that's 60 years in case you didn't it both tracks were considered midget tracks and both tracks are a lot smaller than said track

This tour is taking over for the WDLMA Lucky 7 Series after it folded. The spec motors are the Wissota spec and the WDLMA spec. Open motors in the past ran at 2350lbs. total with 50lbs. in front of motor plate. But yes official rules have not been published yet.

Anyone able to explain the reasons for banning the Penske shaft-thru shocks?
