    Default Superman and Superman

How many drivers share nicknames with other drivers, perhaps from a different era?

for example, to me, there is only one Superman, (in best Pete Secret voice) Hailing out of Lost Creek West Virginia- you know him, you love him, Superman Rodney Combs!

    thoughts?

A couple of years ago there was great debate over "The Reaper" Ryan Gustin and McKay Wenger.

I go by "The Jet" and there's only about 100 of them out there!

Scott Sexton is the first person that comes to mind when Superman is used in DLM racing.

Down here in the Carolina's if you say The Gambler is coming to the race track that usually means The Gambler Brandy Baker, since he has had that nickname since the 90's....

To me, when I hear "The Gambler", I think of Ed Basey from Augusta, Ga.

I always think of Ed Basey when I think of, "The Gambler".
In Georgia, Tim Headen 2X was, "Superman", I suppose he passed it along to JD.
Actually, I like JD's other nickname better, "The Blairsville Assassin".

How about a crossover from a different division? We DLM fans all know that T-Mac is Tim McCreadie, but if you also follow sprints you'll know that midwestern sprint car driver Terry McCarl has also been known as T-Mac for decades.

And from the asphalt modified world, Jamie The Jet Tomaino. Yes, lots of Jets.

And wasn't one of the Hicks boys that ran at 311 in NC also known as the Gambler?
