CARNESVILLE, GA – Virginia Motor Speedway in Jamaica, VA returns in 2017 for its fourth season with the Fastrak Pro Late Model Series as both a Weekly Racing Series Saturday night track and the host of the most premier Fastrak annual events that include the richest Crate Late Model Weekend in the nation.

Fastrak will visit Virginia Motor Speedway three times in 2017 with $3,000-to-win races on April 8 and June 3, and the World Championship Race Weekend on September 15 and 16 for the fourth straight year.

The World Championship Race will pay a record $20,000-to-win on Saturday night, September 16 and the race will be open to all competitors. Dennis “Rambo” Franklin of Gaffney, SC won his second World Championship Race in 2016.

The $5,000-to-win World Challenge Race for Fastrak Members that have competed in at least 10 events will take place on Friday night, September 15. Ryan Montgomery of Fairmont, WV was the World Challenge Race winner in 2016. Virginia Motor Speedway will host the Fastrak World Championship Race weekend for the next three years.

Justin Williams is the 2016 Virginia Motor Speedway Fastrak Weekly Racing Series Champion. Tyler Bare was the Virginia Motor Speedway Fastrak Weekly Racing Series Champion in 2015.
