i spent a lot of time researching this at the beginning of last season. it largely depends on what type of track you're running. we spend a lot of time on the brakes entering the corner at some higher speed tracks so heat is a factor. we run a .810 stainless scalloped and slotted wilwood rotor with afco f22 calipers. flawless.
if you want to spend $600 or more a corner, TBM and performance friction are where it's at.
