[QUOTE=kidrock;2077022]Well if you had actually been paying attention you would seen I have agreed with some things some have said on here. Then you would have known I was never for I'm assuming by the Queen you mean't Hillary, that I was never for her. Then you would have seen I posted Trump won and it's time to move on.

I believe I'm going to like some of what Trump is going to get done and some I won't like but, that will be no different then any other President before him. I'm not asking anyone to back me up that's what makes this country great. We can all have different views on things and don't have to agree. There are couple on here that actually do disagree with me but, yet we still have respect for one another and that's the way it should be but, others like yourself think your view is the only view that matters and everyone should just agree with you.

gator 49 Sorry if I pissed you off it wasn't not my intention.[/QUOT
l don't normally don't get pissed off, just tired of all the negative crap on TV and on 4m. Give the man a chance before you cut him down. He's done more for America in 8 days than Obama did in 8 yrs. I didn't care for Bush, but I sure did not like Obama. Have a great day kid.

Default Schumer:Democrats seek to delay votes on Trump Cabinet in response to executive order

Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer announced on Monday that Democrats are hoping to delay votes on President Donald Trump's cabinet picks in protest of his Friday executive order barring people from seven Muslim-majority countries from entering the US.

    Brooklyn Federal Judge Ann Donnelly
    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ann_Donnelly

On November 20, 2014, President Barack Obama nominated Donnelly to serve as a United States District Judge of the United States District Court for the Eastern District of New York, to the seat vacated by Judge Sandra L. Townes, who took senior status on May 1, 2015. Senator Charles Schumer recommended Donnelly for the position.

On December 16, 2014, her nomination was returned to the President due to the sine die adjournment of the 113th Congress. On January 7, 2015, President Obama renominated her to the same position. She received a hearing before the United States Senate Judiciary Committee on May 6, 2015.On June 4, 2015 her nomination was reported out of committee by voice vote.On October 20, 2015 the Senate voted 95-2 to confirm Donnelly. She received her judicial commission on October 21, 2015. An investiture ceremony was held on January 22, 2016.

On January 28, 2017, Donnelly issued an emergency stay blocking part of an executive order issued by President Donald Trump from going into effect. The ruling enjoined the federal government from deporting individuals who had arrived in the the country with valid visas or refugee status. Several minutes after Donnelly entered her order, another judge, Leonie M. Brinkema of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia, issued a temporary restraining order blocking the Trump administration from preventing the return of lawful permanent residents at Dulles International Airport.

She is a Schumer family friend.

People need to go get jobs instead of whining and sobbing about nothing. Liberals are beyond pathetic. Trump is commander n Chief. He is to protect this Country and its citizens. If he wants to vet
refugee's from Countries that sponsor terrorism and then that is what should happen. There are a lot of people that really need to get a life. LOL

Andrew Jackson was hated by most politicians and half the country. Doing the right thing is sometimes very unpopular. Do you realize Jackson is the only President to have a budget in the black. He did this by kicking the National Bank to the curb. No more debt based dollars. The money men where so mad the lobbied against him, tried to assassinate him and caused a depression. Side note, the assassination failed and Jackson beat the hey out of the would be killer, with his cane. Jackson like Trump, was driven by Ego. We shall see.

Ah, haven't logged on in a quite a while and, no surprise, here we are about were we left off.

While Trump has made some questionable decisions, relating to the original premise of the thread, agreed that impeachment is premature at this time. However, Trump is clearly performing questionable acts at the same time and is not doing himself any favors; glad to see others agree this is likely due to his hubris and ego.

As usual with me, I can't let y'all be mislead. Jackson is not the "only President to have a budget in the black," and this is not an alternative fact as the source below shows in actual numbers. Several administrations have had not only the "budget in the black," but ran surpluses such as: Cooliage; Truman; Eisenhower and Clinton.

You my friend, have been misinformed. When you have a debt based dollar, it is a physical impossibility to pay off the debt. There are never enough dollars to pay the bill. If somehow you did pay the bill, there would be no dollars to run the economy. There was only two times, in the history of this country that there was a non debt based dollar for any time period. Jackson and Lincoln's green back dollar. WE still owe interest on WW1. There was no President since 1913 that has had a balanced budget. The may have taken in as much in taxes as was spent in a fiscal year, but the debt is still there. The interest keeps accumulating.

Ok, but you are now conflating the 'budget' and 'national debt' which are completely different measures. While I'll concede that it is likely few administrations have ever paid off the national debt, clearly no one has ever budgeted to do so either. However, the interest due on the debt has been fully paid, even in years of surplus, as this component would be included in the sourced material.
