    What's the difference between the 7al box and the 6al boxes?

    The 7 has a lot of special features that can be used for various purposes. For instance it has an rpm activated circuit that can be switched various timing adjustments ect. Mainly used in drag racing but is also a useful traction control device that's legal.

    This 6T was an analog ignition box. I say "was" because it's been discontinued. All of the modern stuff is digital and also provides more spark output.

    Some guys seem to still favor the reliability of the 6T at least around here... so much of the newer stuff is Chinisium.

    I have a new 6T and a good used one... guess I'll have to get by with those.

    The next thing you guys will tell me that my Flathead Ford isn't competitive!
