    Default Pearson vs Francis

Who will finish higher in Lucas points, Pearson or Francis? Will either win more than two Lucas races?

I think Pearson finishes better in the points, and neither wins any Lucas races.

It probably depends on how dominate you know who is. Meaning if there are some races up for grabs, maybe they both will see the winner circle a few times. If 0 wins half the races, that is not going to leave much.

I say Pearson better in points, around 7th. And he has 2 wins.

Francis, 9th in points. And one win maybe.
Up in the air who my next “favorite” driver is. Really losing hope on Bloomer getting anywhere back to “normal”.

I'm going to say both go without a win. It's going to be hard getting a win on that tour when you have Bloomer, Richards, T-Mac, Erb. I could see Owens, O'Neal, Lanigan getting a couple, plus guys like McDowell, Shepp, Pierce, will steal a few.

Quite honestly I doubt either gets a win, and I think Owens will be right there with them in the 0 win column.

And I'm as much a Francis homer as the next guy, but I just think he has fallen off the pace since he left Barry Wright. Personally I think it's a crew problem. He needs more help, or new blood, or something. Every time he changes, whether it's teams, or chassis or whatever, I think "ok, this is it, he's back on track." Then more of the same. Lots of top tens and top 5s.

I don't keep up with Pearson as closely, but all of the above seems to apply to him too, without the team/owner changes.

I think Pearson will be better. He ran a lot better at the end of last year, winning the prelim at the world, and i feel he he had the car to win the dtwc. There was a few small changes leading up to that race that made Earl really comfortable with the car. They also made some changes with the team personnel over the winter too.

Make it four. Neither of them will win a tour race in 2017.

I think they both get couple wins this year. I think Pearsons will come early and Francis come late. Gut feeling that Francis can't get Capital cars to go, in different chassis by or soon after Dream @ Eldora. As the weather heats up this Summer, so does Francis. I predict he finishes in top 5 in points, Pearson finishes 7th-8th
