Why did Moyer jr say he wished it would have been a points race tonight? What am I missing?

Maybe they did what they did at Rockford and made it a non-points feature at the last minute.

In post race interview he said he wished it had as a points night. Cut laps by
10 when track was best it had been all night....not surprised if they made it non points. Not impressed last couple of days

What a joke. Shouldn't matter what the track is like. If it's scheduled to be a points race, it should be a points race. All drivers had to drive on that same track. It's not like some had an advantage. I guess we're making the rules as we go. WoO has done some suspect things this week.

So, I have a question...if last night was a points night at only 23 laps, how is tonight NOT a points night? Going by their points page, it shows 3 races being a points night (17/18, and last night).

I have no answer to that. I do know this: this is my first time to the Dirtcar Nationals and, if this is par for the course on the way WOO runs things, it will be my last. Have wanted to do this for a long time and after this, I'm leery to do again. Bad experience

Nice to see Brett Hearn break last year's curse and get the win tonight in the Big Block Mods. It had been over 20 years since he had a winless season so he gets '17 off to a good start.

Hearn won this race last year also, so I dont understand why they say he was winless in 2016

I also heard Moyer Jr's comment about the points and didnt understand, but that's a really good question. Why make the 23 lapper for points but not the 40?
