Swartz Race Cars
I have noticed a lot of Late Model drivers in the Carolina are getting a Swartz Chassis over the past couple of years.
I was just wondering who the biggest name in a Swartz Race Car?
-
Jakie Boggs, Doug Drown, Dustin Linville was in one! Tim and Zak Dohm!

Thank you! I know at the track I help promote at Lancaster Super Speedway in Lancaster, South Carolina. Swartz Race Cars was doing pretty good last year in the SECA Crate Late Model Division on the Big 1/2 Mile.

So these cars pick up quite a few wins every single year then.

Yep. In the Tri-State area of Ky, Ohio, and WVa, they are pretty good.
Up in the air who my next “favorite” driver is. Really losing hope on Bloomer getting anywhere back to “normal”.

Chris Garnes is a great wheelman and drives a Swartz just seems he doesn't have the backing to race that much anymore.

I think he doesn't have the want to anymore. Been happening in Swartz land lately.

It's a shame because he can drive a race car.

Swartz builds a solid piece for sure. Would be cool to see someone on the national tours get in one.

I doubt we will ever see very many Swartz cars on a national tour because they can't run over a 75 lapper. A Swartz car tends to be very hard on tires and can only be competitive in shorter races.

..... I dont agree with that statement .... I think it was more dollars that pulled the plug .... Along with the amount of time & labor which is a big stretch to be called passion ...

Right after a sub par season and a bad speed weeks. They all have families. He spent the winter building a new car. People quit things all the time. It isn't an attack on a man's character to admit the fact that someone walked away. Regardless of reason, the thing they quit wasn't important enough to continue it.

A lot of guys say dollars when they could still race local or regional if love of the sport was high.
