    Default Ross Bailes

As long as Bailes has been in super late models, seasoned observers have been able to see talent in that young man. Good to see him put a $10,000 race under his belt. What was interesting to me is that Bailes was driving for Billy Hicks, a long time SLM campaigner, in a similar situation to Brandon Overton in the Randy Weaver car. Maybe this is another changing of the guard.

Hells Bailes is fast anywhere he goes, and the young man is very respectful to anybody that comes up to talk to him too. Congrats on the win Ross Bailes.

I know he ran his own stuff earlier this year. Does anyone know if he will continue to do so or if he'll be running the Hicks car the rest of the season?

Between Marlar, Overton, Madden, Davenport, and O'Neal I never would have guessed Bailes would pull it off. It was great watching him get it done! Congrats "Hells" Bailes!!!

Marlar didn't seem to happy with the pass. Said he didn't get passed he got ran over. Also I noticed that Marlar was back in the capitol car.

The pass didn't look too bad to me. However, it was hard to see on dirtondirt.

I believe the next race with them together(Bailes in Billy's car) will be the $20,000 @ VMS. I think they will be just hitting bigger local shows

Kevin Kovacs just published a nice write-up on DOD about the Bailes/Hicks hookup. They might have some success together beyond Gaffney.
