    Default Reverse mount PS/Fuel pump tandem

    Does the reverse mount ps/fuel pump tandem setup help with performance any? Thinking bout switchin over to.it on my crate car but don't wanna spend the $ if not a huge difference but every little bit helps on crate stuff! Thanks for any info!

    I don't have numbers to back it up, but I wouldn't think there's ANY horsepower gain from the p/s setup, as both designs are belt driven off the crankshaft. I don't know if there's any measurable difference in the fuel pump. I wouldn't think much. The big advantage is more in weight placement. You're taking weight off the nose and putting it pretty much on the exact center of the car.

    It helps when changing motors.There is a hp advantage, but it comes from fuel pressure.You need to do some dyno work to take full advantage of it.
