Billy Moyer Jr. Wins at JMS; WoO Tripleheader Next

Batesville, Arkansas (03/20/17) – Billy Moyer Jr. busted into the win column over the weekend by piloting his Crop Production Services #21jr Billy Moyer Race Car/ Pro Power Racing Engines Super Late Model to a $2,500 victory on Saturday night at Jackson Motor Speedway.

“We had a great car on Saturday night, and it felt good to check off the first win of the year,” said Moyer Jr. “We’ve been close to Victory Lane early in the season, but just had different circumstances prevent us from getting the win. This victory gives us a nice shot in the arm as we prepare to resume World of Outlaws action.”

On Friday night Billy Moyer Jr. traveled to Ark-La-Tex Speedway (Vivian, Louisiana) to compete in the unsanctioned Pelican 50. With 25 cars on hand, Billy locked his spot into the $5,000-to-win A-Main with a 3rd-place finish in his heat race. Breaking into the Top 5, Moyer Jr. landed a 5th-place finish behind Timothy Culp, Garrett Alberson, B.J. Robinson, and Jon Mitchell.

The following night Moyer Jr. visited Jackson Motor Speedway (Byram, Mississippi) for the Mississippi State Championship Challenge Series (MSCCS) season-opener. After registering the fastest time overall in his qualifying group, Billy stormed to the dash victory, putting him on the pole for the feature. Leading all 50-laps, Billy Moyer Jr. cruised to his first win of the season over Garrett Alberson, Hunter Rasdon, B.J. Robinson, and Kyle Beard. Moyer Jr. pocketed a $2,500 payday for his victory.
