I must have went to the wrong Duck River track. They are known for dragging the show out. Several different times, they will say "drivers meeting at 530, hot laps at 6", that must have been a different time zone, because they never make that time. Several races went way after midnight! A WOO race was after 1am. Hope they do keep it moving, and run Lucas show first. However, I will have to see it to believe it.
I guess we will just have to wait and see Sunday. However I I have been to Duck River several times to the big events and it was late, late before the super late model show was run. Hopefully, it will move quickly this Sunday.
They just announced that they have added another support division to the line up. The action there is ALWAYS top notch. The time management has lacked in the past. Take that for what it is...
Probably skip this event...
Weather forecast is showing rain moving in late Sunday night...
By Sunday it'll be moved to late afternoon...
And they adding more time 👎...
Maybe next time...
Here we go.....that class has a history of dragging the show along....I guess they couldn't pass on the revenue of more PIT PASSES.
As for the actual racing it is usually pretty good if they don't over do the watering. He has two trucks and likes to use them.......lol I know that's a good thing to some people but they have issues getting it rolled in SOMETIMES. and if it doesn't get packed real good it will start to break up in the turns......NOT GOOD
I have seen some really good races there and plan to go this Sunday. I just used a vacation day for Monday to sleep in!
James Essex announced at Boyd's last night, the Lucas oil feature would be run first up. So, if they start when they say they are, it should be over at a decent time.
