Due to rain the Illini 100 at Farmer City Raceway will take place Saturday and Sunday April 1-2.

Friday show is moved to Sunday afternoon. Sat show stays the same.

I wish they'd just make it a one day show on Saturday.
Opinions are my own. Twitter.com/ShinySideUp18

That's kinda' what it looks like, Gary. We've got advance purchase tickets to the USAC Silver Crown show over at Terre Haute Sunday afternoon/evening so it's lookin' like we'll miss the rescheduled Sunday Farmer City portion of The Illini 100. We'll be at FC Saturday night for sure!
It looks like we're gonna' need to bundle up Saturday night as the forecast high for Saturday is only 56 degrees with a low of 39 degrees Saturday night. Luckily the wind isn't supposed to be howlin', should be pretty calm.

about what time will they get started on Sat?? wondering if it makes sense to drive and most likely only see the feature

Maybe you could go over Sunday, Gary. Looks like it's going to be somewhat warmer. High of 62 and a low of 50 over night Sunday night.

Hope you see your way clear to attend Farmer City Sunday.
We also hope for a good show at THAT. Sarge told me Wednesday night that there should be 35+ Silver Crown cars on hand at Terre Haute.
One of the best races of any kind we've ever watched was a USAC Silver Crown 100 lapper at Terre Haute. Tony Elliott was glued to the bottom and someone who's name escapes me at the moment was running the cushion which was right up near the wall. They must have run side by side like that for 40 of the 100 laps. The race wasn't decided until the last 50 or 60 feet of the last lap.
