Wet Weather Postpones Brucebilt Iron-Man Modified Series at Ponderosa Speedway

SOMERSET, KY (March 31, 2017)—Officials with Ponderosa Speedway and the Brucebilt Performance Iron-Man Modified Series have announced the postponement of the series stop scheduled for April 1st.

Heavy rains on Thursday Night into Friday morning and afternoon totaling nearly two inches have forced the postponement of the April 1st event that was scheduled to pay $2,000 to the winner. A make-up date for the event has not been immediately announced but track promoter Jamie Stumph advised the series on Friday afternoon that the event will be made up at a later date.

The next Brucebilt Performance Iron-Man Modified Series race will be on Saturday Night May 20th at Richmond Raceway in Richmond, Ky. paying $1,200-to-win and $110-to-start during the Mike Roland Memorial event.

The next Schaeffer’s Oil Iron-Man Championship Super Late Model Series race will take place as part of a double-header weekend on April 7th at Blue Ridge Motorsports Park in Blue Ridge, Ga. and Saturday Night April 8th at I-75 Raceway in Sweetwater, Tenn. Both events pay $3,000-to-win.
