    Question Peoria speedway

    How is the grounds looking in ptown? Also how many laps is the Hamilton memorial?

    It's a mud pit as we speak but the rain is suppose to end by Thurs. It should dry out with the winds predicted. I don't expect a problem other than muddy pits.

    they need quit grading the parking lot.. they tore up any solid base that was there... nows its one big mudhole..they did the same thing last yr in the pits.. now it's a mudhole..you got save that base and add to it on top...spend some money...

    It's kind of always been that way as long as I can remember. Being in a flood plain and being engulfed in farm silt continuously over the years has taken it;s toll.

    not like it is now..they graded the parking lot again last week for some reason and made it worse...it's never been this bad...and the pits closest to the track didnt use to be mud... there were puddles , but you didnt sink in the mud...l been going to that track since l was 6 yrs old and 4 different owners and its never been that bad... put some rock down and leave it alone..

    Drove by the track this afternoon. Drying out nicely. The sun has been out all afternoon and the wind is crankin like a mutha. They'll be waterin the track raceday.

    whats everyone's opinion make the almost 6 hour drive for this or stay closer to home to watch the kokomo grand prix?

    I would pick kokomo... I've never been to Peoria (probably never will) but based on videos I'd choose kokomo
