I'm confused on how they came up with heat race order. How Does Eckert not get pole, yet McDowell and Overton get the pole in their heats, even with Eckert qualifying better? I don't think these are the actual heat races. I believe those were just hot laps and the 4 groups, correct?

ok, so hot laps....the post had "Heat 1" etc....and top 4 transfer. So, it's misleading. Makes it look like those are the heats, lol. Thanks plunks. May want to change from "qualifying" to "hot laps"

Not that I am a where of. They mentioned somewhere on another thread, Virginia does some whacky stuff. This has to be at the top of the list!!!!
