CARNESVILLE, GA – The FASTRAK Racing Series has enjoyed a long and successful relationship with Hoosier Racing Tires of Lakeville, IN, who produce the Hoosier FT200/400 Crate Spec Tire for the series and its three Divisions. Through the years, the Hoosier FT200/400 has proven itself as an economical, high-performing, and durable racing tire.

Drivers and car owners alike have come to love the tire that is required for competition in the FASTRAK South East Regional Tour, the FASTRAK Mid-Ohio Valley Regional Tour, and the FASTRAK Weekly Racing Series. One thing that enhances the performance and durability of the Hoosier FT200/400 tire is that FASTRAK does not allow any grooving or siping, only buffing.

The most consistent comment from drivers about the Hoosier FT200/400 tire is that, “these things just keep going! They keep pulling until they blow out because we’ve worn them out. Until then, it just keeps pulling and doesn’t slow down. It will run until there is no tread left at all.”

Car owners love the Hoosier FT200/400 mostly from an economical standpoint. “They don’t make a better crate tire,” most owners will say. “It’s not a directional tire, so we can flip it and keep going. We win races on tires that are several weeks old, and that saves us money. Saving money gives us an opportunity to keep racing all year long.”

The Hoosier FT200/400 Tire has played an important role in keeping FASTRAK the leading Pro Late Model racing since 2004. FASTRAK Founder and CEO Stan Lester knows that keeping drivers and car owners happy will also help keep your series at the top of the game.

“The Hoosier FT200/400 tire has probably cost us tire sales, but if it keeps racers in the game longer during any given season, that’s better for the fans, tracks and teams,” Lester said. “That makes it better for us a series in the long run as well. This has been our required tire for 11 years now, and we have no desire to change to anything else.”

FASTRAK requires that the Hoosier FT200/400 tires be run on the rear of the dirt late models. Drivers that have come over from other series to run some the many FASTRAK Special Touring events have had nothing but good things to say about Hoosier FT200/400.

Drivers from other series say they bought Hoosier FT200/400 tires, ran them for three races, and they still performed like new after the third race. They claim that there is no way they could do that with the required tires in the series they normally run.

The FASTRAK Racing Series changed over to Hoosier Racing Tires in 2007, and Lester told the Hoosier Engineers the type of tire he was looking for on behalf of the FASTRAK competitors. It had to be economical, durable, and be conducive to close competition. Lester said they hit the mark with the Hoosier FT200/400 Crate Spec Racing Tire.

“Shannon Rush and Paul Menting with Hoosier Racing Tire have been good to the FASTRAK Racing Series, and worked with us when we changed over from another brand,” Lester said. “Our relationship with Hoosier Racing Tire has been fantastic, and the tire they have developed for FASTRAK has been great.”

The Hoosier FT200/400 Racing Tire is not exclusive to the FASTRAK Racing Series. Lester is willing to offer this tire to other series and tracks looking for an economical savings for their race teams, and better competition on the track for their fans.

“If you are a series or track interested in what many will agree are the absolute best crate late model tires in the country, call me at the FASTRAK Office at 678-935-7304,” Lester said. “I would be more than happy to work with you anyway I can on the Hoosier FT200/400 Crate Spec Racing Tires.”
