CARNESVILLE, GA – Over $36,000 in purse money and cash awards will be up for grabs this weekend in a Peach State Double-Header for the ULTIMATE Super Late Model Series South East Region. Senoia Raceway in Senoia, GA will present the 40-lap $4,000-to-win Spring Classic on Saturday night, and Rome Speedway in Rome, GA will host the 40-lap $4,000-to-win Rome Rumble on Sunday night.

The complete payout for each race is as follows: 1. $4,000; 2. $2,000; 3. $1,350; 4. $1,000; 5. $875; 6. $775; 7. $700; 8. $600; 9. $500; 10. $450; 11. $425; 12. $400; 13. $400; 14. $400; 15. $400; 16. $400; 17. $400; 18. $400; 19. $400; 20. $400; 21. $400; 22. $400; 23. $400; 24. $400. M&W Transport will put up $200 each night for the Fast Time Award.

Shane Clanton of Locust Grove, GA and Billy Moyer Jr. of Batesville, AR have added themselves to the already star-studded field of drivers expected for this weekend’s races that also include ULTIMATE SE Top 10 drivers and the top local North Georgia favorites that call Senoia Raceway and Rome Speedway their home tracks.

Jonathan Davenport of Blairsville, GA leads the ULTIMATE SE point standings going into Rounds four and five of the 2017 season. Second and third respectively in the ULTIMATE SE point standings are Jason Welshan of Maryville, TN in second, while Autolite/Fram/DirtOnDirt.com Rookie of the Year point leader Tyler Millwood of Carterville, GA is tied for third with Brandon Overton of Evans, GA.

The defending and two-time ULTIMATE SE Champion Dennis Franklin of Gaffney, SC is tied for the fifth spot with Mike Marlar of Winfield, TN. The 2011 2011 ULTIMATE SE Champion Chris Ferguson of Mt. Holly, NC is seventh, and Autolite/Fram/DirtOnDirt.com Rookie of the Year Candidate Brett Hamm of Newberry, SC is eighth. Three-time ULTIMATE SE Champion Casey Roberts of Toccoa, GA is ninth, while Brian Ligon of Augusta, GA and G.R. Smith of Statesville, NC are tied for the tenth spot in the ULTIMATE SE standings.

Overton won the first two ULTIMATE SE races on March 4 at North Georgia Speedway in Chatsworth, GA, and the $20,000 top prize in the Aaron’s King of the Commonwealth at Virginia Motor Speedway in Jamaica, VA on April 8. Ferguson won his third straight Jack Starrette Memorial 50 on April 15 at Modoc Raceway in Modoc, SC.
