Two-Day ULTIMATE Rattlesnake Rumble At Dublin, NC Means Big Money

CARNESVILLE, GA – The 60-lap $10,000-to-win, $500-to-start Rattlesnake Rumble this Friday night and Saturday night for the ULTIMATE Super Late Model Series at Dublin Motor Speedway in Dublin, NC pays out the big bucks. The full $35,000 payout for Round 5 of the 2017 ULTIMATE season is as follows:

1. $10,000; 2. $5,000; 3. $3,000; 4. $2,000; 5. $1,500; 6. $1,300; 7. $1,200; 8. $1,100; 9, $850; 10. $800; 11. $750; 12. $700; 13. $650; 14. $600; 15. $550; 16. $500; 17. $500; 18. $500; 19. $500; 20. $500; 21. $500; 22. $500; 23. $500; 24. $500. M&W Transport will pay the “Haulin’ It” Fast Qualifier $200.

The two-day event is an ULTIMATE National race with Regional points being awarded to ULTIMATE South East Region drivers. Competitors in the ULTIMATE Battle of the Bluegrass Region can use a finish in the Rattlesnake Rumble to replace an ULTIMATE BoB Regional event point total of lesser value in their season total.

The Rattlesnake Rumble is a part of the non-points Introductory Pilot Season for competitors in the two newest ULTIMATE Super Late Model Series Regions, the Mid-Ohio Valley and North East Regions.

ULTIMATE Super Late Model Series competitors will take part in Qualifying and Heat Races on Friday night at Dublin Motor Speedway to set the front of the main event starting field for Saturday night. Saturday night will also see the B-Main Races to field in the back of the field for drivers that failed to qualify for the Saturday night Big Show in Friday night Heat Races.

On Friday and Saturday, the gates open at 3 p.m. and on Friday, ULTIMATE Super Late Model Series Pre-Race Registration and Technical Inspection will be from 3 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. The Drivers Meeting on Friday night and Saturday night will be at 6:30 p.m. with Hot Laps at 7 p.m. and Racing is scheduled for 7:30 p.m.
