Summit Racing Equipment American Modified Series Starts 2017 at Bloomington April 28, Lincoln Park April 29

Glasgow, KY (April 19, 2017)- The Summit Racing Equipment American Modified Series is set to begin the 2017 racing season with a Hoosier State weekend doubleheader at Bloomington Speedwya on Friday April 28 for the 4th Annual J.B. Robinson Memorial and Saturday April 29 with the tour’s first ever visit to Lincoln Park Speedway in Putnamville, IN. Both events will pay $2,000 to win and $200 to start.

The Summit Racing Equipment American Modified Series will visit Bloomington Speedway in Bloomington, IN on Friday April 28 for the 4th Annual J.B. Robinson Memorial. The tour will be in competition in a full program of practice, A-B group time trials, qualifying heats, B Mains, and the 40 lap, $2,000 to win/$200 to start 4th Annual J.B. Robinson Memorial A-Main event. Other divisions joining the Summit Racing Equipment American Modified Series in action at Bloomington Speedway on Friday April 28 will be the track’s Sprint Car and RaceSaver Sprint Car divisions. Entry fee for the Summit Racing Equipment American Modified Series is $50. Bloomington Speedway uses transponder timing/scoring, however, there will be no rental fee. All drivers that start a B-Main, but do not transfer to the A-Main, will receive $50 tow money.

Activities for the 4th Annual J.B. Robinson Memorial at Bloomington Speedway on Friday April 28 will see the pit area open at 4:30 p.m., while the general admission area will open at 5:30 p.m. The drivers meeting will be at 6:15 p.m., with practice laps set to start at 6:30 p.m., followed immediately by time trials, and racing will begin at 7:30 p.m. All times EDT.
